Arrival process
You will need to download your tickets before arriving at the venue as there is no signal at Elandskloof Farm. If you have booked accommodation, Vehicle Village passes, or add-ons, please be sure to download these as well to make your checkin process as efficient as possible.
Upon arrival, you will be directed to the relevant entrance based on your choice of accommodation (BYO, vehicle camping, or glamping in a specific neighbourhood). You will need to show all your downloaded tickets to our friendly staff in order for them to direct you correctly.
Main Entrance
If you are directed to the main entrance, please make use of our Drop & Go system to drop all of your belongings at the festival entrance before parking your car in the designated parking area. The Drop & Go area will be clearly marked and our friendly security team will be there to guide you. Please note that vehicles are only allowed to spend 5 minutes in the Drop & Go zone – please follow these rules and keep your fellow Retreaters in mind.
Once you have checked in at the entrance you will be issued with your festival wristbands and be able to make your way to your campsite. There will be a team with wheelbarrows to assist you in taking your luggage to your tent. Please note that they work on a cash basis only so be sure to plan ahead if you would like to make use of this service.
Priority Check In Entrance
Those who are staying in Thula Corner glamping, or have Vehicle Camping Passes for either Thula Corner or uThando Town will be directed to the Priority Check In Entrance. Here you will be issued with your Vehicle Pass and parking bay number, as well as your festival wristbands. You will then be directed as to where your parking bay is and begin setting up for your stay.
Vehicle Village Entrance
Those who are staying in our Vehicle Village will be directed to their own designated entrance. Here you will be directed to your parking area and issued your wristbands.
No Vehicles will be allowed in any of the campsites. Only those who have purchased a Vehicle Village Pass will be allowed to camp next to their vehicle. Once your vehicle has been parked in any of the designated vehicle camping areas or parking bays you will not be allowed to move it for the duration of the festival for safety reasons.
